INTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE IT: This Excel game is to be used as a sort of quiz game in Chemistry and Geology. The file contents two Excel sheets (bottom left of the screen), one for each subject. The user (student) will see several pictures related to these subjects, and in the box underneath he/she will write the word which describes the picture. If it is correct, it will be so announced with a green background. If not, it will be red and the user will be asked to try again.
The purpose of the lesson is to have the students' research, in depth a country in Africa. It is important for the students to know a little about these places so they will develop a better understanding of the world around them. The lesson and unit will focus on major facts about 6 countries in Africa. These facts deal with the history, geography, economy, and interesting things about each country.
The US is one of the biggest and one of the most influential countries of the world. In this “WebQuest” we will try to know more of the most important details of interesting places to visit, culture (traditions, festivities and food), famous artists etc.
In this Webquest you will find more about typical American things like 4th July, Times Square, Hollywood studios, hamburguers, and many more.
