INTRODUCTION
Scotland is maybe less known than England or tan Ireland. In this “WebQuest” we will try to know more of the most important details of interesting places to visit, culture (traditions, festivities and food), famous artists etc.
In this Webquest you will find more about typical Scottish things like Tartan, Haggis, kilts, bagpipes, a spur, Loch Ness, Palace of Holyroodhouse, the thistle, tossing the caber, Robert Burns, Whisky, Gaelic… and many more.
Topic: the cardiovascular system (the normal structure and functioning of the heart, the circulation of blood in the human body, from the heart to the rest of the body and back to the heart)
Lesson Aim: understanding and learning the structure of the heart and of its mechanisms, as well as the circulation of blood

a. Friends or family members going to each other's houses with a gift of whisky and sometimes a lump of coal

INTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE IT:
This Excel game is to be used as a sort of quiz game in Design and Technology. The user (student) will see several pictures related to these subjects, and in the box underneath he/she will write the word which describes the picture. If it is correct, it will be so announced with a green background. If not, it will be red and the user will be asked to try again.
