In this project students will work in a subject integrated way. They will enhance their knowledge of an important historical period with the help of a blog-based role play.
Each student will create a character of their own, an avatar, in the city of Rosenheim, situated in the south of Germany. The character will live, act and reflect on events in Rosenheim, in Germany and in the world during the time period of 1919 – 1945. The identity of the writer (the student) will be kept secret from the readers of the blog.

INTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE IT:
This Excel game is to be used as a sort of quiz game in Design and Technology. The user (student) will see several pictures related to these subjects, and in the box underneath he/she will write the word which describes the picture. If it is correct, it will be so announced with a green background. If not, it will be red and the user will be asked to try again.

The user (student) will see several pictures related to these subjects, and in the box underneath he/she will write the word which describes the picture. If it is correct, it will be so announced with a green background. If not, it will be red and the user will be asked to try again.

Step 1:
1. The teacher asks the students if they know any gods from the Greek mythology and writes the names they have mentioned on the board.
2. The teacher offers more names of gods with mingled letters and asks them to reorder the letters to recreate the correct names

The teacher also asks students to define what range of power the god has and what responsibility, e.g. Aphrodite = the goddess of love

The objectives of the teaching activity “ Einstein in Wonderland” are to promote the familiarity with the new technologies and, particularly with the LIM; to learn physics through a different language, that is English, using the method CLIL; to learn the specific vocabulary of subjects of physics, in English.
To reach these objectives we are using brainstorming, formulation of hypothesis, researches, building of the work, teamwork.
