This is a grammar and vocabulary review activity (it is related to the world of art)
This is the way it works:
The teacher asks some questions so that students use known grammar in their answers (some will be more difficult than others).
Every time a student answers a question correctly they can click once on a slide to uncover part of a piece of art (or twice if the question is difficult). This will continue until a student guesses they type of art represented (portrait, sketch, etc.)
At the end of the activity the teacher and the students will do an assessment of the results.

Students work in pairs or in groups, depending on the
number of students and computers in class.
It has 3 parts:
1. Knight Armour – the students have to connect the words
to the armour pieces

knights
3. Life of a knight – the students read a text about the life
of knights. In the text there are missing words. The
missing words are in a box above the text, the students

There is a map. A student (for each crusade a different
student) has to point the starting point of the first crusade
and follow the route until the end. Then the class discusses
the crusade in terms of aims, planning, choice of route,
strategies, consequences and results. The same is done
with the other 8 crusades.
