The students will be given the opportunity to:
- reach a better level of reading and oral interaction in a common, known situation.
- focus on the ability of co-operative working with other learners, working towards a common goal

The teacher asks the students: “What can we do to help the people around us? Who can we help?” “I have some suggestions for you. Let us watch the presentation. In the presentation are presented people in need. What can we do for them?” The teacher asks this question after each slide. The point is the students to have some concrete ideas and to be motivated to help.

DESCRIPTION & PROCEDURE
The students will carry out an end-of-term project using audiovisual support. First, they will have to select a scene/ several scenes from a famous film. The students will adapt the original dialogues to their own interests, including the grammar points that have been mastered all along the academic year. The scene is to be recorded with a camcorder/ cell phone/ digital camera or any other audiovisual tool. The recorded images will be edited and must include simple credits.

The Swedish national curriculum, Lgr 11, emphasizes the skills on how to use spoken English when interacting with other people.
The students should be given many opportunities to develop the skills to:
• Understand spoken English
• Express themselves and communicate in English
• Use different strategies to make yourself understood
• Adapt the use of English in different situations and for different purposes”
