Yes, they lerant English is not only for the classroom, they used it while communicating to the other students and teachers. For the implementation of the specific tasks, they also had to acquire new skills or improve the skills they had already had, for example- shooting the films.

Yes, they have. They have for instance been able to practice skills in media making, such as filming, acting, taking photos and making presentations.

They´ve used their English freely, with no guidance, when talking to the other students or when posting. They´ve also used their practical skills to create activities that were going to be assessed or seen as part of a real project and not a simulated activity.

The most important ability they used was, obviously, speaking English in any and all situations. I think it's a definite boost to their confidence and their motivation to study further to see that they can manage quite well, and, because comparisons are inevitable, they can manage better than other students their own age from other countries. Secondly, all the students who participated at the project developed and/or consolidated their ability to work with modern technology, and to make it work in the context of learning. I think for some of them, like the students who created the Science films, this experience might sow the seeds for their future careers. In a way, this project has allowed them to understand the importance of some abilities which they might have considered purely recreational until now.

By working on all the activities connected with the project, by socialising with students from other countries, and now they can keep on practising their language skills by staying in touch with their new friends.

Definetely; in talking in public, in speaking English, in being autonomous when given a task (for example make software for the project).
