How helpful was the project in establishing new social contacts?

I had the opportunity to meet some really nice people, and I think I am on very friendly terms with some of them. This project has made me reconsider my resistance to using Facebook, since the main problem with having "international" friends and acquaintances is keeping in touch with them, but the people I met during the project are definitely worth the hassle.

Very much. Obviously you get to know people from other countries whom otherwise you would have never met, but you also get closer to your own colleagues as you have to work with them.
