What new things about the partner countries have you learned as a result of the visits?

After my first visit I will probably definitely have learned a lot, since living with a native family gives you a much better understanding of its culture than simply staying in a hotel as a tourist.

I've learnt the difference between a small town and a big town. While in Bucharest the community isn't so important, in the cities I've visited, the community plays an really important role in the development of the city.

I have learned that it's not a great idea to ride a small sleigh which is attached to big horses...and that people play a big role in the development of a town.

I have learned that the Turkish people are extremely hospitable.
